$5 Friday -Let's Worship!

Let’s talk about music! To be honest with you, I LOVE music, I love how I can use it to keep me focused and how I can use it to block out my little brother’s screaming (Sorry Mikey, but it is the truth!). Not to mention, my family is VERY musical. From a young age, each one of us had a guitar or learned an instrument in some way.

I myself learned a little guitar and am lead singer with my Mother in our band called The Black Sheep. If ever you came to one of our seminars, you will see us have some good ol' praise and worship and you will see how much fun we have praising the Lord.

So, when Apostle Colette taught on, Ministry in Music, you can image how excited I was! Apostle Colette really explains the importance music has in the church and the power it holds!

Getting to Know The... "Bride"

Hey Hey everyone! This is Rebekah Beckering! Dalton and I were talking and we realized I never really got to introduce myself! So, Hi, I am Rebekah (But also known as Ruby).

I am Apostles Craig and Colette’s youngest daughter. I grew up in the ministry and traveled with my parents everywhere.(I will admit, it feels weird not being on the plane with my family now as they head to Virginia, but hey! At least I get to help hold down the fort for them and support them from this side.)

Growing up in the ministry, you get to experience a LOT and you get to meet a lot of new people. I remember May 21st, 2017, I met a VERY special person, (Wanna hint?). That person was Dalton Beckering (My husband).

Now, when I met him, I thought he was cool and fun to hang with, but MAN he needed a HAIRCUT (I will convince our formatter to add a picture of him at the bottom!).
We became great friends (Or as he called me in his old Prophetic School lessons, his, “Flirty friend” – I was just being nice! Promise!), one thing lead to another, we started dating on Christmas 2017, got engaged on November 21st, 2018 and got married August 26th, 2019!

The rest is still being leaved! Now to let you know who I am, I am the “Switchboard”, so all calls that come in go to me first, and then I help make sure the call goes to the right person.

This is one of my favorite tasks because I love talking with people and connecting.I am the leader of an INCREDABLE team, called W-Team (I know I am being bias, but they are my team!). We are the welcoming comity to every seminar and the ones that are there to serve you and make you feel at home.

The W also stands for, “Whatever”. We are whatever God needs us to be and we shape into the mold that can help support the rest of the other teams in AMI.

I am a student in the Pastor Teacher School (And let me tell you, just because I am the Apostles daughter, doesn’t mean I get it easy!).

I am training to become a Pastor and I love the process God is taking me through.He is always teaching me to push to serve others. And I love serving and being the one others can rely on.


I am excited with what God is doing with Dalton and me together in the bookshop. I love being able to connect with you and be your go to person! So, if ever you need help, feel free to write or call me (But I do prefer being able to hear your voice).

Oh! Before I forget. My favorite book currently is Mentorship 101

(It used to be Called to The Ministry, which I still love) I like Mentorship 101 because it is my lifeline to all that I am facing right now and helps me to see where I am going as a mentee and Mentor, and when I need to be!

My Favorite MP3 is Hope – The Power of Focus. It is a full message, but man, after listening to it, I am always geared up to put that hope to action!

When I smell Coconut and flowers I trigger to Hawaii. Now, when I see someone bringing a cup to the sink once I have JUST finished the dishes, I trigger all over that person to the hours I have spent in the kitchen cleaning it.

Master Mentorship!

Whenever someone says, “mentorship” to me, a LOT comes to mind. Some things include sleepless nights and “slight” stress, but I also picture God’s people rising up and becoming the leaders and generals God has called them to be. I see me with my awesome team and us working through some very challenging situations.

I see the book Mentorship 101, with my Mom being the Author and all that. It is hard NOT to think of anything else.

Now, I got to be honest with you what I love about Mentorship 101, is the emphasis on being a mentor, and being a mentee. How can you be the “perfect” mentor if you were never a mentee yourself? Being a mentee is a very humbling process! (Trust me, I am there everyday) And it shows you how to submit to those above you.

I also LOVE how Apostle Colette explains that you need to, “Be a good mentor to qualify as a spiritual parent.” And here I thought mentorship was just to train people? No, you are the one being trained through it all. She explains this one picture REALLY well,

“’As a trainer, God uses us as a chisel on the diamond. No one ever thinks about the hammer that hits the chisel into the diamond.’ The chisel is getting it on both sides."
